ESCAPE Landscape Painting exhibition running from 25 April until 30 April at Percolator Gallery is a joint exhibition with Jane Ericksen and Noeline Lee who are primarily figurative and still life painters. This body of work is to challenge their practices and extend past the traditional depiction of landscapes and seascapes. It is intended to be emotive and reflective for viewers to connect with the theme of Escape.
Robyn Bauer will be holding a large solo exhibition entitled Brisbane Stories celebrating aspects of life in Brisbane including the suburbs, the river, the city, and the Ekka, through paintings, prints and drawings. Robyn was Artist in Residence at the 2016 Royal Queensland Show and she will be including work done on location as part of this residency.
Officially opening on 10 September, Judith Kentish's exhibition from ideas of tending comprises new work exploring the artists’ ongoing interest in material with an essential focus on the time-based aspect of art-making, where labour intensive process and consideration of material is paramount.
The exhibition will be open to the pubic from 3 September until 9 November 2016 at Caboolture Regional Art Gallery - 4 Hasking Street, Caboolture, Queensland, Australia.
