About the Instruction Manual

Most aspects of building and editing your artHIVES website should be self evident by the presence of onscreen prompts and instructions. This instruction manual is designed to compliment the general intuitive design of the artHIVES editing system. Advanced users may find little reason to consult this manual, however it is recommended that all users read the Troubleshooting section.

Reordering images

To relocate an image within a gallery:

1. Click the GALLERIES link in the YOUR WEBSITE section of your back office.
2. On the GALLERIES page click the GALLERY containing the image you would like to relocate.
3. On the EDIT THIS GALLERY page Click and hold the MOVE button (icon 2 red arrows) beside the image you are moving.
4. Drag the image up or down to a new location.
5. Click the UPDATE IMAGE DETAILS button at the bottom of the page.

Alternative Edit-in-Place Method
1. While logged in, navigate to the GALLERY containing the image you would like to relocate.
2. Hover over, then Click and hold the MOVE button (icon 2 red arrows) beside the image you are moving.
3. Drag the image up or down to a new location.
